    1. No hair does not mean not dirty

It is well known that cats sleep on the ground 2/3 of the time of the day, and Sphinx cats are no exception. In general, cats secrete oil to nourish hair, but this oil is superfluous for Sphinx cats. The oil produced by daily metabolism not only accumulates in the folds of the skin, affecting the health of the skin, but also hides under the nails along with the debris. When the Sphinx cat eats, goes to the toilet, and plays, it will stain the skin, and it needs to be cleaned up in time, otherwise it is easy to cause skin infection.

    2. Be cautious about keeping warm

Because the Sphinx cat has no hair to maintain a certain temperature for the body, there are certain requirements for the survival temperature, you can put them on delicate warm clothes and open the electric blanket in the winter, and in the summer you need to turn on the air conditioner to ensure that the indoor temperature is appropriate, usually need to be kept above 20 degrees Celsius.

    3. Avoid direct sunlight

Sphinx cats have no hair protection on their skin, are extremely allergic to ultraviolet rays, and often suffer from sunburn due to excessive direct sunlight, and even skin cancer.

    4. Eat more

The metabolism of Sphinx cats will be faster than other cats, and they need to keep eating to maintain body temperature, in addition to fixed meat food, they also need to add some complementary foods and vegetables to ensure their comprehensive nutrition. In addition, it should be noted that the body temperature of Sphinx cats is higher, so be sure to eat less and eat more

    5. The body is more fragile

As a breed of Sphinx cat, its physical fitness is naturally inferior to that of those “indigenous cats”. For this reason, they are also aware of this, and they will appear more docile, mischievous and clingy when dealing with humans. Because of their fragile physical qualities, they have a yearning for warm things, so they are more willing to rely on people, and they are a cat and cat in the true sense of being close to people.
